Power Broker

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

Local NYC Metropolitan area brokers have been requesting Stu’s advice
and assistance on real estate insurance. The influx of questions has been greatly attributed to
his recognition as a 2010 Power Broker, a title awarded by Risk & Insurance Magazine in February.
Stu currently is 1 of 6 holding this title. Stu is glad to help with his advice and welcomes
new opportunities to network and uphold relations with other insurance brokers.

New York Urban League

Stuart Cohen of City Building Owners was offered a co-chair to the 9th annual golf classic by the New York Urban League due to his outstanding service as a building insurance broker. Unfortunately he had to decline the offer, because the handicap he requires would be far too embarrassing.

The League’s Golf Classic is now entering its 9th year! The Golf classic is critical in funding where the proceeds go to the New York Urban League’s mission to continue service of more than 50,00 residents of New York. Offering assistance in education outreach, advocacy, scholarships, social services and technical assistance.
